Intake Ministry

Mission

The mission of the Intake Ministry team is to provide for the immediate needs of new members, and sets them on the path to become productive members of New Horizon Christian Fellowship. This is accomplished by providing a smooth transition from the new member and baptism appeals, made by the pastor, to the welcoming of new members into the fellowship and providing for their Holy Spirit and/or water baptismal needs.

Matthew 4:18-19
And Jesus, walking by the sea of Galilee, saw two brothers; Simon called Peter and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea, for they were fishermen. 19 Then He said to them, “Follow me and I will make you fishers of men.”

Purpose

• Provide guidance and assistance to people wishing to become members at New Horizon Christian Fellowship. This is accomplished by providing the new member with the available information that is needed to insure a smooth transition from new members to functioning partners in the fellowship.
• Extend the same type of assistance to members wishing to realize their potential through the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
• Schedule water baptism for members and/or members of their families

Requirements

• Born Again
• Spirit Filled
• Have completed New Partner Orientation
• Tithes
• Attend Bible Studies
• Are Members of the Men’s and Women’s Ministries
