Mission
Our mission is to enhance the Christian experience by providing services in the areas of Child Care, Security, Worship, Bible study and Special Events to everyone who attends New Horizon Christian Fellowship.

Purpose
To supply security, assist parents with nursery age children and teaches them the Word of God, maintains order, greets, escorts and provides information to partners and guests during worship services and special events.
Requirements
• Born Again
• Spirit Filled
• Completion of New Partnership Orientation
• Tithe
• Attend Bible Study
• Arrive ½ hour prior to services and special events
• Dress in appropriate uniform
• Assist in all Church services and special events as scheduled
Helps Ministry Includes:
Nursery
The Nursery provides a safe comfortable atmosphere for children ages 3 months to 3 years of age while parents attend services and / or special events. The nursery is staffed by parents and teen volunteers who have demonstrated a sincere desire and competency in working with children. In addition to meeting the physical needs of children the Nursery provides a curriculum designed to enhance spiritual growth as well.
Greeters
Welcome and provide Church and event information to partners and guests of each worship service and special events. Assist the ushers during baptismal and communion services as well as maintain the appearance of the Narthex and washroom facilities.
Security
Provide security for New Horizon Christian Fellowship and New Horizon properties, during Church services and special events. Assist in maintaining the appearance of New Horizon Church / properties during services and / or events.
Ushers
The Men of New Horizon perform all Usher duties: escort partners and guests to their seats, distribute materials related to the service, and / or special events, distribute communion, collect offerings, and maintain order and the appearance of the sanctuary.
